Uncommon Service

Jesus revolutionized leadership by demonstrating a radical form of service that challenged every cultural norm of His time. By washing His disciples' feet - a task reserved for the lowest servants - He showed that no act of service should be beneath us.
This included washing the feet of Judas, knowing full well the betrayal that would follow, demonstrating the depth of sacrificial love.Servant leadership encompasses two dimensions of love: a universal love for all humanity and a special, sacrificial love for fellow believers.
This dual approach requires embracing complete humility, considering others' needs before our own, and acting with urgency rather than waiting for perfect conditions. True greatness in God's kingdom isn't measured by how many serve us, but by how many we serve, even when - especially when - the recipient seems undeserving.
